TERMS OF SERVICE
Welcome to Laiba’s Sugarbox. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. ABOUT US
Laiba’s Sugarbox is a home-based bakery operating from Uttara, Dhaka, Bangladesh. We specialise in custom cakes, pastries, and certified baking courses.

2. ORDERING
2.1 All orders must be placed at least 48 hours before the required delivery date. This is because all items are baked fresh to order.
2.2 Custom orders (special designs, custom cakes) may require additional lead time depending on complexity. We will confirm this via WhatsApp or Email.
2.3 Orders are confirmed only after we contact you on WhatsApp and payment is received or the advance payment is made.
2.4 We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.

3. PRICING
3.1 All prices on our website are in Bangladeshi Taka (৳).
3.2 Prices are subject to change without notice. The price at the time of order confirmation applies.
3.3 Custom cake pricing varies based on design complexity and size. Final pricing is confirmed via WhatsApp before payment.

4. PAYMENT
4.1 We accept:
- bKash (full payment in advance)
- Nagad (full payment in advance)
- Visa/Mastercard via Stripe (full payment in advance)
- 50% advance payment via bKash/Nagad, remaining 50% on delivery
4.2 For the 50% advance option, the remaining balance must be paid in cash upon delivery. Failure to pay on delivery will result in future orders being declined.
4.3 All payments are non-refundable once baking has commenced.

5. DELIVERY
5.1 We currently deliver within Uttara, Dhaka only. Other areas are coming soon.
5.2 Delivery charges apply and will be communicated at checkout.
5.3 We are not responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control (traffic, weather, etc.). We will notify you of any delays via WhatsApp.
5.4 Someone must be available to receive the order at the delivery address. If this fails, the order is considered delivered and no refund is applicable.

6. PRODUCT QUALITY
6.1 All products are made fresh from high-quality ingredients with no preservatives.
6.2 Baked goods are perishable. Please refrigerate cream-based products and consume within:
- Cream cakes: within 3 days (refrigerated)
- Cookies: within 7 days (room temperature, airtight container)
- Muffins/brownies: within 3 days (room temperature)
6.3 If you have any food allergies, please inform us when ordering. An allergen-free environment is subject to the request.

7. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
7.1 Orders may be cancelled for a 75% refund of the total bill (or 50% of the advance payment, if applicable) when the cancellation is made at least 48 hours before order preparation begins, which is typically 48 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date..
7.2 Orders cannot be cancelled once baking has begun.
7.3 Refunds for quality issues must be reported within 2 hours of delivery with photographic evidence sent to our WhatsApp.
7.4 Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 5-7 business days.
7.5 We are not liable for dissatisfaction based on subjective taste preferences.

8. BAKING COURSES
8.1 Course enrollment is confirmed only after we contact you on WhatsApp and payment is received.
8.2 Course fees are non-refundable once the course has begun.
8.3 If you miss a class, we may offer a makeup session at our discretion — this is not guaranteed.
8.4 Certificates are issued only upon full completion of the course and satisfactory assessment.
8.5 Certificate IDs are unique and issued once. Duplicate certificates will not be issued.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this website, including photos, logos, text, and designs, are the property of Laiba’s Sugarbox. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without written permission.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Laiba’s Sugarbox shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services, to the extent permitted by applicable Bangladesh law.

11. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
